Lorenza Thompson
President
President
Lorenza Thompson is President of LT Consulting, LLC. Lorenza has over 27 years of IT experience in the Intelligence Community. He founded the company in 2002 and worked as an independent contractor for almost ten years. In 2009, he began expanding the company after bringing on his partner and a new contract vehicle.
Prior to starting LT Consulting, Lorenza worked as a federal government employee and transitioned to a small contracting company eight years later. During his tenure at ACET and TRW, he worked as a software developer and database administrator and quickly built his reputation as an Oracle expert. He worked on several proposal teams, mentored many colleagues and served as a technical lead/liaison on several projects throughout the Intelligence Community.
Lorenza earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State and a Masters of Science degree in Information Systems with a certification in Software Engineering from George Mason. He is an Oracle certified professional.
Kory Alexander

Vice President
Kory Alexander joined LT Consulting, LLC as Vice-President and partner in 2009 bringing over 15 years of IT experience supporting the federal government and Intelligence Community. Kory is instrumental in expanding the company and primarily responsible for business development and recruitment.
Prior to partnering with LT Consulting LLC, Kory worked as a Senior Unix Administrator for Genuity DataCenters (formerly known as GTE-Internetworking) and later accepted a job with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Fort Worth, Texas. Within a year, he moved to Marietta, Georgia to continue working on the production of the first 16 delivered F/A 22 to the United States Airforce. In 2004, Kory transferred within Lockheed Martin to the Washington Metropolitan area and began his career in the Intelligence Community. He worked as a Sr. Unix Administrator, lead architect, and mentor on several contracts. He was instrumental in implementing multiple IT systems within the Intelligence community; quickly gaining the reputation of technical expert and receiving various awards for outstanding performance and leadership.
Kory has established his reputation as a technical advisor, technical expert, and dedicated resource while working simultaneously on multiple projects within the Intelligence Community. Kory earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Maryland at College Park.
Carmen Baxter

Carmen joined LT Consulting, LLC over 10 years ago as a Program Director with 8 years of experience as an IT professional in the Intelligence Community. She is instrumental in recruiting new talent, establishing vendor relationships and managing personnel.
Prior to joining LTC, Carmen worked in the private sector as a call center manager for the government sector of Bank of America and a book publishing company. She entered the IC and worked as a program lead for BAE Systems managing enterprise IT Service Management projects. Carmen transitioned to a small company as a Program Director and was instrumental in programmatics, recruiting and as an advisor to the CEO. She developed a reputation for recruiting top tier talent and leading high performing software development teams. Carmen graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Carmen is a Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.
Kristin Peterson

Marketing and Employee Relations Director
Kristin joined LT Consulting, LLC in 2017, bringing over 28 years of IT experience in the Intelligence Community. Kristin plays a key role in expanding LTC's marketing and recruiting while ensuring our employee relations stay at the forefront.
Before joining LTC, Kristin was a federal government employee where she developed applications and became a certified network administrator. She transitioned to the contracting world after 7 years where she initially continued her focus on application development. During her 20 years at BAE Systems, Kristin transitioned from her developer role to a systems engineer and solutions architect where her expertise, resourcefulness, and reliability were highly respected and sought by others. Based on Kristin's reputation and experience supporting IC management and its customers, Kristin has most recently supported large IT programs as an executive trusted advisor. She also has experience with the development and maintenance of business systems/infrastructure and identity and access management services.
Kristin is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science, Decision Support Systems. She is ITIL and SAFe certified.
